mt4 for mac
for anybody who still has problems installing metatrader on mac and it is just about a demo account you can use vantagefx, they build a metatrader for mac users. here is the link http://www.vantagefx.com/meta-trader-4-for-mac/
i do not know anything about them, so if you want to open a live account you will have to do your own due diligence(check them out)

Thanks for posting this. It is proving to be a bit of a hassle using mt4 on a mac. It does work but only if I use Crossover which creates a few quirks of its own. I can't seem to get FXI Pivots.ex4 to install either which is disappointing. I was looking forward to utilizing that after seeing the results on the Pro Trade Webinar.
